Going to the Frida Kahlo Museum, by subway (Metro)

Where exactly is the museum?

The Frida Kahlo Museum’s address is:

Londres 247
Del Carmen, Coyoacán
04100 Ciudad de México, D.F.

The nearest metro or subway station is Coyoacan. Line 3 color code: light green.

This is a street view of the Metro station. And yes, you could get lost at all the vendors outside the metro station. It’s just part of the folklore, although you might find some good deals there!

This is how it looks the Coyoacan Metro (subway) sign station by night.

Just leaving there’s a shopping mall center “Plaza Centro Coyoacan” with a department store  “El Palacio de Hierro” facing the subway entrance.

It’s an approximately 18 minutes walk from the subway station to the museum, so if you want to take a taxi, this is a good spot, and also will be cheaper. The google map from Coyoacan Metro Station to the Frida Kahlo Museum is here.

This is the street view of the museum also called “La casa azul” (the blue house):
