One of the most visited touristic places in Mexico city is the Pre-Hispanic City of Teotihuacan. It’s almost a must, if you are visiting México and/or Mexico city as it’s considered one of the UNESCO’s world heritage sites. How to get there? as there are many tour companies, I will focus on the cheapest way to get there: Public Transportation.
There are 2 ways to get there:
hop in to the nearest metro station and look for the metro station of your choice. You have 2 options:
After you leave the station, you’ll find a lot of buses, just look for the Pirámides Teotihuacan sign and you’ll get there.
2. instead of Indios Verdes, go to the TAPO or Autobuses del Norte metro station. Over there you’ll find some buses that will get you to the Teotihuacan pyramids.
Autobuses del norte is at Line 5, color coded Yellow.
